QFL announce schedule (23 May 2024)
The QFL have announced the regular-season schedule for their upcoming sixth season.Week 1: Eagle Eyes 33, silentsound's Silentknights 30 (Final)
The opening game will be a rematch of the Fever Bowl with World Champions silentsound's Silentknights (4-3) hosting the Eagle Eyes (5-1).
For Eyes' coach the_hawk, this game will pose an opportunity to make amends for the disappointing championship game against the 'Knights who lost four of their previous five season openers.
When the two teams met in the regular season at Silent Field Stadium, the Eagle Eyes remained victorious.
Week 1: Deichclimbers 0, Dicey Beasts 0 (QTR2, 6:12)
The Deichclimbers, coached by three-time Fever Bowl winner duffeldoffel, will start into their franchise history on the road against returnees Dicey Beasts.
Beasts' coach TheBeast knows how to win a game against coach duffeldoffel as his Beasts beat duffeldoffel's Reds in Season II. Still, Coach duffel remained victorious in three of their four encounters with Coach Beasty.
Week 1: Prussian Warriors 16, owl49er's billygoats 28 (Final)
Returnees owl49er's billygoats start their second season overall at home against the Prussian Warriors (2-4) who hope to put frustration aside and finally return to the postseason.
Warriors' coach Niner and billygoats' coach owl49er know each other well as they joined forces for The Nordics in Ice Bowl IV and rolled all over the Alpines.
Week 1: Niners Sparrows 0, frontmodes Kobras 7 (QTR1, 5:48)
frontmodes Kobras (2-4) contemplated withdrawal after blowing several chances to clinch a Fever-Bowl berth after a promising 2-0 start.
The Kobras won both of their previos games against Niners Sparrows (3-3) who missed the postseason for the first time even though they swept previous Fever Bowl champs, Jetto Basterds.
