Warriors bounce back big timeThe Prussian Warriors (1-1) bounced back from their season-opening loss defeating frontmodes Kobras (1-1) 45-27 on the road. Even though they had two streaks of more than 20 answered points, they had to come from behind to clinch victory.
The Kobras' RBs ran for 357 yds and a pair of TDs including the opening score early in the first quarter. But the Warriors then started a streak of 23 unanswered points thanks to three long TD runs by their RBs who ran in from 28, 74 and 66 yds out.
The Kobras cut their 16-point deficit down to six before halftime and then scored another FG and another TD to take a 27-23 lead in the middle of the third quarter. But an improbable 57-yd FG let the momentum swing back the Warriors' way who went on to score three unanswered TDs to pull out a comfortable win.
The Kobras outgained and outpossessed the opposition by more than 15 minutes but the Warriors were able to score quickly and had three big-play touchdowns of 66 yds or longer including a 79-yd TD pass to close the score.
The Warriors' offensive line had a big day allowing no sacks and helping the RBs to average 7.5 yds per carry.
